Family-run hotel in a beautiful area of Filey. Good service, welcoming staff during stay. Appetising cereals, fruit and toast to every taste. Marvellous and brilliant location 5 mins walk from the centre. For tea or coffee visit Angela's Tea Rooms nearby.

Perfect getaway spot!

The room was super spacious and better than expected. Breakfast was really tasty, especially the presentation. The staff was super great. Just a bit noisy at night with outside sounds, but didn't ruin our stay. Def gonna recommend this place for a chill time in Filey!

A beautifully presented stay! Exceptionally clean with a decor that resonates warmth, the breakfast here is excellent, offering high-quality ingredients. My room was steadfast in comfort and amenities with lovely little extras. The only minor hiccup was the occasional noise from plumbing. But the generous hospitality makes one forget all!

Comfortable room and great breakfast.

Parking is a nightmare! We spent over an hour circling the area, trying to find a spot close enough to the hotel. The inconvenience was exacerbated by the lackluster help from the staff, who seemed indifferent to our struggles. After finally getting a spot, we found the experience just added stress to our vacation, which should have been relaxing.

Athol house bed & breakfast is a gem! The room was so warm and comfortable, and every corner was super clean. It's just minutes from shops, gardens, and the sea. The breakfasts were amazing, and sam and diane's hospitality was great. They even came to see my girlfriend's gig.

The breakfast was excellent, with a delicious full English with fresh ingredients, and the hosts were cute. The room was immaculate and cozy. My only suggestion would be the addition of a mini fridge in the room for added convenience.

The Standard King Room was super cozy and spotlessly clean. The bed was really comfortable. Loved the fresh milk for tea and coffee-it felt homey. Only downside was no mini fridge in the room, which would've been nice.
